Crocheted Dish Scrubbies

Almost since the start of this blog I am asked if I know how to make scrubbies from nylon netting. This evening in the course of updating this blog, I finally found a site with directions for doing so. The article is called Crocheting Dish Scrubbies 101

It is my sincere hope that you will find this to be a useful article.

My suggestion is to look at a fabric store or a place that has a fabric department.

You can order netting from Knits & Bits by Linda on line or Tulle-Shed. It’s $4 a 6″ by 40yd roll. They carry 32 colors and I believe Knits and Bits supplies free pattern for round scrubbie.

I make the round nylon net scrubbies by the 100′s. I have also developed two additional scrub items useing the net along with cotton yarn to make wonderful scrub tools. I like the rolls of net as I do not have the knots to contend with.

Where have you found nylon netting on a spool. All I can find is nylon netting by the yard – that presents way too many knots.
