Dead links have been removed from all of the pages and some of have updated. New links will start being added today. 🙂 Since there are a lot of them in my files it will probably take a while.
Please feel free to let me know if there are links you would like to see here by leaving a comment on one of the pages. They are normally checked at least once a day.

I just finished removing dead links from the Knit Cloths page amd updating others. It feels like it has taken forever to do this. It has been an interesting process filled with some interesting discoveries. I have seen patterns I have not seen in years and have had some long forgotten memories rekindled.
A number years ago I received a beautiful dishcloth as part of an exchange, I lacked the courage to ask for the source of the pattern at that time and have often wondered about it. While updating this page today I came across it and laughed out loud with the joy that comes with discovering a treasure.
I also discovered a page containing not only a link to a pattern, but also information on the history of knitting. That brought back a flood of memories of years ago in a world far away when I wanted to be a history teacher. I was not allowed to pursue that by my parents and life took another path. That did not diminish my love of history.
Thank you for listening. Thank you most of all for your patience while I continue to update this site.

I am still updating this site. For the past couple of days it has felt more like it is being torn more than being updated because of all of the dead links that have removed. I am going down the list of pages in alphabetic order. The last page completely updated today was Holiday Cloths Assorted. It is not possible to tell you there will be more time spent here this weekend because that will probably not be the case. This weekend, like most of them, will be spent taking family time and doing an assortment of other things.

I have discovered this morning that one of my favorite websites: Piece by Piece by Kathy North is being rebuilt. Links to patterns hosted there were available up until as recently as early February of this year when I used one of the patterns from it. At this time I will be leaving links to patterns from that site in place and will be checking at least once every two weeks to see if they are available. Once current links are available they will be updated on this site.

Work on this site is going a lot more slowly than planned. There has only been an hour or two to spend on it when I am not working outside the home. Be assured it is not being ignored.
