A Question For You

Normally I make my own decisions, sometimes after consulting my trusty family, about what links to add to this site. Today is an exception.

My question is :  There is an archived site that has dishcloths for all of the States for the US. Would you like me to add the states individually or shall I link to the page where they are found?

Please answer by sending either a comment to this question or on my Contact Me page. I will make a final decision how to handle this on next Tuesday afternoon based on the responses I receive.

Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Busy

There have many links added this weekend. A couple of dead links have been removed.

I hope you are  having a great weekend!

Working This Weekend

I am working this weekend for my employer this weekend.  I will be back to updating this site Monday morning and as much as possible every day this week.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of you!

Busy Week

Life became a bit more busy this week than normal. As a result of this, I am working hard this weekend to add links to  more patterns. It is fun to find patterns that are new to me and hopefully to you also.  The main problem with this is that my list of projects to try, aka WIMs ( Works In Mind ) is growing.  It is also a positive thing because it means there is always something to try.

Have a wonderful weekend filled with time to knit or crochet!

Adding Links

The process of adding more links to this site began yesterday. A lot of links were added. There are many more to add. I will continue my habit of  listing a link on more than one page if it is appropriate.

I will be spending as much time as possible working on it in the upcoming days. Please remember that it is a work in progress.

Thank you for your patience.

Progress And A Break

I have been checking every link on each page of this site in alphabetic order with a couple of exceptions.  This morning I completed the Knit Cloths page. My plan is to resume working on this site Friday morning. I need a break from it today. There are other activities wanting and needing my attention. Tomorrow will be filled with working for my employer.

Thank you again for your patience!

Pink Slipper Project

I have recently learned about an organization that provides slippers to women and children living in domestic violence shelters.  It is  The Pink Slipper Project.  Slippers don’t have to be pink and they can be made using any pattern you feel comfortable using, for either women or children.  The site also includes free  downloadable patterns for knitting, crocheting or sewing slippers on the right hand sidebar. I can tell you from experience as a knitter and crocheter that those patterns are well written and easy to follow.

You will also find a list of sources for patterns here:

Please take a look at the site and consider sending  a pair or two of slippers, or other items to this organization.
