Dish and Wash Cloth Mania

I have been observing that there seems to be an increase in the number of patterns being offered in PDF format. I try to place that in a note at the end of the link so no one is surprised by this. I also open them myself to insure that they are safe and contain a copy of the pattern listed on the link. So far, there has never been a safety or accuracy issue with any of them. I do not expect to have one because most people are honest and upright. Just in case something strange like that ever happens, please be assured that I will not include a link to the pattern on this site. The designer or owner of the web site will also be contacted privately.

I know it has been more than a week since I promised to do some  major updating here. It is going a lot slower than I hoped. There have been a lot of dead links removed . Some have been  able to be updated. Please be assured that I am still here and working even if it does not look like it. Thank  you again for your patience.

I realized one day last week that almost  two years have past since this site has been updated.  The sad truth is there were other priorities in my life. Realizing my need to make some changes on this site and feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work which needs to be done here, I took a couple of days to come up with a plan. My decision is to go through each published page on this site and remove or correct the broken links that can quickly and easily be repaired. After doing this I will rebuild the site.  I will also be going through comments and responding to them. To those of you who have been ignored as the result of my absence, I apologize and say  “Thank you” for your  patience.

While working the page of Knit Cloths yesterday  I came across and a link to an old site that can now be found only on the Web Archive. Take a look at this:

Assorted Cloths-Web Archive–Lily Dishcloth Patterns. page with black background. It has nine old patterns written out there.  They look like they would be fun to try. If you want to try them, I would be delighted to see pictures of what you make. I would also like to know what you think of them.

In the past few years this site has become lost in the shuffle of life. In the past few weeks some changes have been made in my life. One of the results of these is there is more time for updating this site. There have been and will continue to be pages updated almost daily.  Dead links will be removed. New links will be added.  Please do not expect to see major changes for a few weeks. It is taking longer than expected to reach my goals for this site.
