Holiday Items New Page

I have added a new page titled Holiday Items. The page description states it will contain kitchen and household items.  I am including decorations for holidays.

Even though the main focus of this blog is dish and wash cloths, this seems to be the place to put these links.

New Pages and Other Updates

Two new pages have been added for your use and enjoyment:

The Illusion Knitting Cloths page includes a link to other web sites containing information on this technique.

In the past week links have been added to several other pages. Dead links on some of the pages have been removed. Unfortunately more need to be removed. This will be done as time allows.

New Page Added

A new page has been added with a few patterns listed. Hopefully there will be more soon:

Miniature Cloths

Update Complete

The update on all of the pages on this blog is complete. To the best of my knowledge all of the links are current and accurate. If you find one that is broken or otherwise not accurate please contact me by making a comment.

Thank you for your patience during this update. 🙂

New Page

A new page has been added to this blog. It is titled People.  It will contain links to dishcloths showing people in  The one exception to this is that when RaAnn, the owner of Wicket Stitch  posts patterns of Guide Dogs to her site, they will be linked from this page.

I normally attempt to remain objective when it comes to adding links to this site. However, the issue of visual impairments is a subject very close to my heart because I was born and live with a genetic condition which affects my own vision.  Perhaps one day on another blog I will discuss this more….This is not the place I feel comfortable doing so.

Updating

I fell badly because I have not been around much in the past several weeks. Life has been busy between work, homeschooling and knitting. There is so much I need and want  to do and so little time to do it.

I will be adding patterns here as much as possible in the next few days and weeks.  Additions to this site may or may not be accompanied by Posts here because I may end up doing it a bit sporadically.

I am more excited tonight ( by now it is really morning ) than I have been in a long time. DH and I decided to get me a digital camera today while we were running some errands. I found one I liked at the first store we went to but In typical fashion thought it best to check out some other stores in our area. We did and learned that the first place we went to had the best buy for our money.

This is a picture of a scarf for the Red Scarf Project. It is being made with 2 strands of worsted weight acrylic yarn from my stash. I am using #15 needles and using a 3 by 3 rib. It is working up fairly quickly and easily.
