Dead LInks Removed

I have removed several dead links this evening. It was hard to do because most of them were links to patterns on the Peaches and Creme website. I discovered it was completely removed a few weeks ago and have deliberately taken my time to deal links to the patterns from it. There are a couple links still up because I am looking for current links to those patterns. If there are none, then they will also be removed in the next few days. In the scope of life and history, companies come and go, but this was one of my favorite sources of yarn and patterns.

On a more cheerful note, I will be adding new links over the next few days.  I will keep you informed of the changes.

Almost Finished

Dead links and some minor corrections have been made to about three fourths of the pages on this site.  Because I am working this weekend for my employer, this project is on hold. I will be back Monday with plans to finish checking the remaining pages for dead links by the end of the day.

Site Update

I will be updating this blog daily for the next six days starting today. By the end of that time, the links on each page will have been reviewed ; the dead ones will be  researched and removed if found not to be valid elsewhere on the internet.I will also be going through my files and adding  links to more  patterns.

Another goal is to update and answer all comments that are waiting attention. This may or may not be done publicly depending on what I decide. Please accept my apologies for having gotten so far behind. Life has been busy and this blog has unfortunately gotten lost in the shuffle.

If you are a designer and wish to have a link to your pattern added to this site, please send me a message by of the comments. My computer will be checked for messages several times daily for the next several days and at least once daily after that time.

Updating and Changes

As you look through the pages here in the upcoming weeks you will start finding signs of updating. Dead links will be removed and hopefully be replaced by new ones. New pages will be added. Grammatical errors on my part will be corrected. Articles on a variety of topics will be posted.

Even though completing all of these changes will take a while, they are being worked on almost daily. Please be patient with me. This is only one aspect of my busy life.

Pages Checked

The following pages have been checked of the accuracy of links:

On the pages that contain links to “crittersdesigns.com” you will see a note stating: ‘site disabled as of 5/6/07’. I am leaving the patterns listed in the hope that this site will be re-started in the near future. If this does not happen, the references to the links will be removed.

I will continue checking and updating the remaining pages in the next few days.

Apology for Broken Links

While adding links to some pages this evening, I discovered some broken links. They have been repaired.  As a result of finding them, I will be checking each page in the next several days and making necessary repairs.

I apologize for not finding this problem sooner.  I also apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the members of the community who use this site as a resource.
